About IPSF EMRO

IPSF EMRO stands for the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office. IPSF is a non-governmental, non-political, and non-religious organization that represents pharmacy students and recent graduates worldwide. EMRO specifically refers to the Eastern Mediterranean Region, which includes countries like Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Pakistan, among others. IPSF EMRO focuses on promoting pharmacy education, professional development, and public health initiatives within this region.

RWG 2023-24

1. IPSF, EMRO Chairperson

Responsible for directing and managing the regional office and its Regional Working Group and to represent the Regional Office or make any public announcements on behalf of it.

2. IPSF, EMRO Secretary

To take accurate records of the proceedings of the RWG, meetings, prepare their agendas, and circulate their minutes.

To be responsible for the maintenance of the Regional Office archives and documents.

To be the adviser to the chairperson or other RWG members of the Constitution and other Official Documents.

To assist the Chairperson at the Regional Assembly.

3. Regional Relations Officer

Externally:

To look for sponsors, partners, and collaborators for EMRO activities

To work on expanding the region by being responsible for strategic membership promotion projects

Internally:

To keep in regular contact with Contact Persons and guide them throughout their mandate

To establish and maintain a database for the Regional office

4. Regional Projects Officer

To promote regional projects and initiatives throughout the region

To ensure all projects promoted on a regional level are from official accurate resources

To assist member organizations within the region in the implementation of the Federation’s projects

To assist member organizations wishing to propose new projects

5. Regional Media and Publications Officer

Designing subcommittee:
which concerns and depends on creativity on adobe programs like adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After effects and so on, Designing subcommittee translates all the project for the other subcommittee in form of creative designs and videos

Marketing subcommittee:
This is responsible to brand EMRO and it’s project using different creative tools like Carousel, notes and so on.

IT subcommittee:
Responsible for designing and organizing the website and make it up to date

6. Eastern Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Symposium

The Chairperson of the Regional Symposium must be responsible of organization of the regional assembly, meeting, and sessions.

This is beside the symposium’s program accommodation & guest speakers

The program must also include social nights & ice breaking games The chairperson is responsible too for the Pre- Leaders in Training & Post Symposium Tour
